Ladies and Gentlemen, If you've never had a tap lesson in you life, or haven't danced in years, Ruth "BooBoo" Schuebel can have you tapping your toes in just a few hours.
The Beginners Tap Class is from 5-6pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Each class starts by stretching and warm-up tap steps. You will learn a variety of dances from "The Old Soft Shoe" to "Red Hot Momma!"
BooBoo doesn't allow the word "can't" in class, she prefers "I haven't mastered that yet".
Then there is The Intermediate Class, which is from 4-5pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Class starts with stretching and warm-up tap steps. You will also learn a variety of dances in this class, which are more challenging than the beginners class; to name a few, "Sweet Heaven", "Who Wouldn't Love You?" and "On the Atchison, Topeka and the Santa Fe".
Last, but not least is The Advanced Class, which is from 3-4pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Class starts with stretching and warm-up steps. You will learn more complexed dances here, but your basic steps always remain the same! Some of the dances are, "That's Entertainment", "Shaking The Blues Away" and "42nd Street".
Utimately YOU could be a member of the "Forever Young" Troupe.
Fall session is currently tapping, but you are welcome to stop by and check out the class!
